America scored a total of 85.6 out of 100. The entrepreneurial culture and strong labor market, along with the nimble financial system are key factors in making the U.S. one of the best in the world.

The report, released by the organization that hosts the Davos conference on global politics and economics, said, “Economic recovery is underway, with the global economy projected to grow almost four percent…” The yearly report showed Switzerland (82.6) in fourth place, falling from first last year. They placed behind the U.S., Singapore (83.5), and Germany (82.8). Finishing out the top ten were Japan, The Netherlands, Hong Kong, The United Kingdom, Sweden, and Denmark.
